Choosing Your Wedding Photographer…
Choosing your wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions for your wedding as he or she has the vital job of ensuring that you can relive and share your Wedding Story in intimate detail for many years to come, when the memories have faded.
I appreciate that it can also be a bewildering and difficult decision to make for many couples.
Therefore I want to help you make the right decision for you and your wedding. The purpose of this brochure is not only to introduce you to me and my wedding photography services, it is also to help you make an informed decision so that you can be confident that you have chosen the right photographer for you and your wedding, whether that happens to be me or not.
Of course, I do hope that you do choose me, I am passionate about all things wedding and love photographing them, however, it is your special day and the important thing is that you feel confident that you are making the right decision for you and your wedding.
Style & Approach
So first let’s talk a little about style and approach…
Style is of course subjective and there are many choices with each requiring different approaches, skillsets, time including away from your guests and comfort levels in front of the camera. It is important that you not only like the style of your photographer, and that you can see yourself in the images too.
I’m going to be sending you an email which goes deeper into this in the coming days but for now know that my approach is to tell your wedding story with beautiful and evocative candid imagery with a touch of WOW!
What does that mean?
If you like…
- the idea of a mostly free-flowing wedding day so that you can focus on the enjoying and celebrating one of the most important days of your life…
- with occasional time for photographs…
- you are looking for a few group images so that you don’t forget who shared your day with you…
- And you want stunningly beautiful bride and groom portraits that will take your breath away …
…Then I’m a good match for you photographically.
Personality & Philosophy
Your wedding day will fly by so quickly, believe me. So many of the little details which contribute to the style and ambience of your day, will be overlooked in the fun and enjoyment of your day.
This is where I come in, it’s my job to ensure that all those poignant details are captured in all their beauty, whilst you focus on being in the moment with your loved ones and guests.
You’re going to be spending a lot of time with your photographer, and you want someone who you will capture the memories and tell the story of your day, AND that you feel comfortable with.
You want a professional and skilled photographer who won’t let you down, who is discrete and blends in; who will go the extra mile, guiding you and giving you advice.
I am naturally very calm and patient, which really helps to ease the nerves of both bride and groom before the big moment comes to say “I do”. Along with being easy-going, this is also a great temperament to have when things don’t go quite to plan – the unexpected often does happen, and schedules go awry.
My clients have described me as “having an ability to calm and relax people in unfamiliar situations”, as being “fun and personable, whilst blending in with their guests”.
All great traits to have in your photographer.
It’s part of your wedding photographer’s job to ensure that they are the perfect fit for you and your wedding.
A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust them and be excited about every aspect of their wedding photography, from booking to receiving your wedding album.
To ensure that this is your experience my services have been carefully designed.
