Broadoaks Country House is a beautiful traditional country house, perfect for a wedding. Luxurious and indulgent, relaxed and informal. It is steeped in romance, with magical settings for you and your guest to enjoy, and of course your wedding photos (more about that below).
The sweeping driveway takes you to a beautiful traditional slate and stone house which features an ornate fountain at the front – a talking point for many guests on arrival. And best of all…… Your dog can come too!
The staff are all so welcoming, ensuring that everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Attention to detail never falters and the kind of expert care you would expect for your special day is provided.
All of this makes Broadoaks ideal for your perfect wedding.
And don’t forget to visit the music room with its acoustic barrel-vaulted ceiling and delicate plaster relief work designed by William Morris. This is where the original Bechstein Grand Piano purchased by Charles Hodges sits today having been recovered from Leeds in 1993.

At the pre-arranged Date Night Premiere time, send me an image of you both ready with a drink of something special – I will reply with your ‘Wedding Story’. Sit back, stream it to your big screen and relive your day.
Personality & Philosophy
Your wedding day will fly by so quickly, believe me. So many of the little details which contribute to the style and ambience of your day, will be overlooked in the fun and enjoyment of your day.
This is where I come in, it’s my job to ensure that all those poignant details are captured in all their beauty, whilst you focus on being in the moment with your loved ones and guests.
You’re going to be spending a lot of time with your photographer, and you want someone who you will capture the memories and tell the story of your day, AND that you feel comfortable with.
You want a professional and skilled photographer who won’t let you down, who is discrete and blends in; who will go the extra mile, guiding you and giving you advice.
I am naturally very calm and patient, which really helps to ease the nerves of both bride and groom before the big moment comes to say “I do”. Along with being easy-going, this is also a great temperament to have when things don’t go quite to plan – the unexpected often does happen, and schedules go awry.
My clients have described me as “having an ability to calm and relax people in unfamiliar situations”, as being “fun and personable, whilst blending in with their guests”.

The planning we did together beforehand was crucial to the day, and Paul made it all so easy for us. We will always be extremely happy with the beautiful photographs Paul captured for us, and would just like to say a massive thank you!
We used Paul for our pre wedding shoot, wedding and more recently a couple’s portrait shoot. All times we have met with Paul it has been fun filled and easy-going without any fuss. The wedding pictures we had done where amazing and so natural we have lots of pictures to look at and relive the magical day.

What can I say about working with Paul? He was fantastic from start to finish! I had struggled to find a photographer I felt comfortable with as neither myself or my husband are keen on photos. Paul made us both feel completely at ease throughout the day. He even managed to calm my husband down during a moment of panic whilst I was getting ready – I didn’t even find out about this until later!!
Paul just ran with the flow throughout the day, ensuring that we got mostly candid pictures of us and the guests and even worked with the Simon from All Star Disco to achieve some very unusual outdoors first dance pictures!
Just as he had packed up to leave Paul noticed the most beautiful moon and grabbed Dave and I for one last photo which we appreciate so much!
