Wedding inspiration;
my vision to inspire YOUR wedding.
The Elegant 1940’s
My inspiration for the shoot came from my personal interest in the 40’s and 50’s along with researching vintage weddings from magazines, blogs and Pinterest. As always, Pinterest was used alongside many visits to Dreamcatcher’s website to find the ideal style of dress, then a visit to the store along with our model to decide on the perfect dress and accessories.
We decided on a Caroline Castigliano gown – ‘Bellisima’ with lace jacket also from Caroline Castigliano and a belt from Richard Designs along with the headdress from Emmerling. It was just perfect!

The nipped in waist and full skirt are very indicative of the time and the lace bodice finished it off perfectly.
The hair and makeup by Alicia Krupta and Clare Osborne was also perfect to compliment the look. A very authentic vintage bride!
A beautiful bouquet was created to match using subtle pinks and creams by Kate of Fabulous flowers by Kate.
With all of the styling done it was out into the grounds to our chosen backgrounds around Marine Hall. To keep the style fresh I had decided on three different background colours. From plain whites, palm trees and to the striking red brick wall.
