A Beautiful and Fresh, Spring Saddleworth Moor Wedding

Annabel and Sam

Annabel and Sam’s Story

Annabel and Sam had planned their Spring Saddleworth Moor Wedding in April, however, it was moved a few weeks later due to the covid restrictions. It was actually moved to their originally preferred date that they couldn’t have due to their band commitments for Whit Friday.

After the postponement in April, nothing was going to stop this. Planned for May bank holiday weekend Annabel and Sam got married at Dobcross Church and celebrated with friends and family at their local band club, Dobcross Band & Social Club.

In between the church and band club we visited a family members’ rather nice garden for a drink and to capture the family formals before heading into Saddleworth Moor, or more specifically Lark Hill for their portraits as a newlywed couple. It’s where the happy couple got engaged. See the photo with the tree above them in the background.

From start to finish it was such a beautiful day and I don’t think I’ve said yet, but someone booked pure bright sunshine all day. It was so lovely.

Fun, laughter, more laughter, and roast beef for dinner. What more could you want!

Pure and simply beautiful, fresh, and a “springy” feel to the styling. Lots of greenery all around.

Amazing to be back doing what I love and working with awesome people:

Annabel’s gorgeous dress: Blush Boutique
Handsome suits: Slater Menswear
Pretty bridesmaid dresses: New Look
The vintage Rolls Royce cars – from Annabel’s uncle.
Beautifully made bouquets and flowers: Miller’s Florist
Stunning Makeup: Rachel Manion MUA&

Enjoy,
Paul
