So, what’s all the fuss with a pre wedding shoot I hear you ask?
The pre wedding shoot has now become quite normal over the past three or four years with us wedding photographers, where upon in the past it was more of an opportunity to get camera’s in front of couples and offer something the competition didn’t. But now it’s quite a valuable hour or two to have with a couple before the big day.
Here is a selection of photos from Ed and Claire’s pre wedding shoot at Formby nature reserve, Formby.
Being able to spend this hour or two with a you is a chance to put you at ease, but it’s also a chance for us to get to know each other further and for me to see how you as a couple are together. It’s also a way to explore the style of photography that we will do on the wedding day and a chance for you to see what it will be like on your special day. It’s also a way to show you that you can be normal; hold hands, cuddle and have a sneaky kiss. Your wedding day will be filled with fun, with moments of “the light over there is gorgeous, let’s get a shot over there before its gone”. Although I love what I do, I may ask you to push on what you are comfortable doing but it’s really what I am there to do and the very best way to get the photos that you deserve and why you chose me to photograph your wedding.

The pre wedding shoot is mostly a chance for you to learn about me and how I go about my work whilst you spend a little time together and discuss how fantastic your day is going to be and how much you are looking forward to different parts of it. Or even the parts you are a little nervous of.

I like to use the photos for my blogs; a little place to write about your forthcoming wedding, though you may want to keep it a secret, and that’s fine I won’t publish them.
If you haven’t already seen them, then there are a few other blogs on my website with previous weddings on. These can give you an idea of the type of style I shoot and how they may look on your wedding day.
