The Pines Hotel, Chorley

Graeme and Gemma tied the knott.

Wedding Photography at The Pines Hotel

If you have read any of my wedding blogs before you will know I like to write a little on the history of a venue, however after some research I have come up short. Before it was turned into The Pines Hotel it was a private house built in the late 20th century.

The wedding was set to be a little different than most in that Gemma was 8 months pregnant – luckily there was no sign of an early exit.

On arrival I met up with Gemma and her four bridesmaids to capture a little bit of the mood but more importantly to Gemma the details. The flowers were gorgeous; as I am sure you will agree.

Whilst waiting for Graeme to arrive (he was only 25 minutes late) I took the opportunity to capture guests having a cheeky drink before the ceremony.

Not long after a fantastic ceremony was performed with quite a bit of laughter the couple where now Mr and Mrs. However the heavens had now opened and quashed any hope we had of using the Pines beautiful gardens for the bridal portraits.

This of course should never be an issue for a wedding photographer as you should always be able to produce fantastic photography from anywhere. With quite a bit of furniture moved out of the way it was possible to take beautiful portraits of both bride and groom.

The photos below tell the story of the day, I hope you enjoy viewing them.
