Paul Swift

Moments captured by me,

This is me.

Hi, I’m Paul Swift, happily married for 12 years to my wife Sarah, father to two older boys, two young schoolboys along with Eddie and Lenny (Eddie and Lenny are dogs). I think I am also married to this job – I love my photography and weddings are my life. Not only do I get to do what I truly believe is the best job in the world, but I also get to fuel my other passion, and that is visiting beautiful architecture. Another big passion of mine is history, and being able to visit some stunning old venues is simply fantastic. I usually research the history of each beautiful old house and write my own blog about each wedding day incorporating the history of it and then to create a little history of your own by providing you with a beautiful wedding album – your very first family heirloom.

I have a calm, relaxed and sometimes cheeky nature which helps calm the nerves of many a bride and groom.

As you have probably gathered from reading this far I really do care about what I do and the only way that I can truly do this correctly is to build a relationship and get to know each couple before the big day. I want to give you something individual and personal.

A question I quite often get asked  is what do I enjoy taking pictures of the most whilst weddings and portraits are where I love to focus my time, pets, especially dogs, they are a joy to spend time with and photograph. I really have a love for ‘man’s’ best friend and seem to have a knack of being able to connect with them.

The last few years have been a fantastic discovery of the kind of photography I really love to do. I like to try something a little different or even replicate and modify the classics to provide beautiful pieces of art that I would be proud to hang on MY wall.

If you like what you have read and I sound like the kind of photographer you want to capture memories of your special day or your treasured pet then please contact me via the contact page, I would love to hear from you.

Best wishes,

Broadoaks Country House

Not only is Broadoaks country house one of my favourite wedding venues its also a great retreat for a few days away or just to visit if you’re close to Windermere for afternoon tea.

Broadoaks is beautiful from the moment you first enter the sweeping drive and see the traditional and beautiful stone and slate house to entering one of the inviting and secluded guest rooms.

And best of all…… Your dog can come too!
