Darren and Joanna’s beautiful Mitton Hall wedding.
Mitton Hall is a stunning manor house dating back to the 15th century set in its own grounds in the countryside of Ribble Valley. The ancient architectural features including a fantastic fireplace are complimented superbly by the contemporary interior design.
I arrived nice and early to spend some time capturing Joanna and her bridesmaids getting ready before I met Darren and his men getting ready. They were a little behind but soon caught up and we were outside creating a set of beautiful images before sending them along to wait for the bride to be.
Joanna was ready on time and was escorted down the aisle by her brother. A lovely service followed by two of the nicest registrars I’ve met. There were a few stops for laughter during the service including a one at Darren’s middle name (of which I have already forgot).
Following the ceremony I left Joanna and Darren with their guests whilst I documented the events taking place by capturing the chatting and laughter.
The reception was hosted by Marlon who was fantastic and a real help if needed. He really couldn’t do any more for Darren & Joanna.
We shot a few groups outside and even though it was a little chilly Joanna trooped on before a set of portraits in the grounds behind Mitton Hall were taken.
There is a beautiful little area with a small waterfall that’s perfect for creating a set of gorgeous images.
I absolutely loved this wedding at Mitton Hall and I gained two good friends as well. Congratulations and all the best for the future guys.

Here is a message left from Darren:
Paul is a very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional photographer who has a very relaxed and flexible manner. He worked around what we needed which made us relaxed and worry free. The planning meetings we had went smoothly and Paul was able to offer good suggestions on top of what we wanted. He certainly was not one of these regimented photographers who barked orders at everyone.
