Lauren and Ste’s Magical Spring Wedding at Mitton Hall

Lauren and Ste’s love story began on a lovely spring day, and it only made sense that they would choose the same season for their big day. They fell in love with Mitton Hall and knew that it was the perfect venue for their dream wedding. With a fresh, green, and floral colour scheme, the stage was set for a magical day.

A Perfect Team

Becky and Ellie were the perfect duo to take care of the couple on their big day. They left no stone unturned and ensured that everything was taken care of, making it a stress-free day for Lauren and Ste. They were supported by Bella and Ethan, who were also fantastic. The team went above and beyond, making sure that everything was perfect and running smoothly.

A Christmas Proposal

It was a Christmas day of 2021 when Stephen proposed to Lauren. The ring was placed in a bauble, and he wrote in her Christmas card that there was a special present hidden within the tree. Lauren found the bauble, opened it, saw the ring, and he asked her to marry him. It was a moment that she would never forget, and it was absolutely gorgeous.

Love at First Sight

Lauren and Ste first visited Mitton Hall in May/June 2020 when lockdown restrictions were lifted, and they could finally dine outdoors. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, and they sat on the terrace with lunch and wine. Stephen went inside to find the restroom and came back with a wedding brochure. He told Lauren that if they were ever to get married, this should be a contender for their wedding venue. And here they were, two years later, making their dream a reality.

The Perfect Attire

Lauren bought her wedding dress from Amelia’s in Clitheroe, and it was a perfect fit for the theme and venue. The dress style was A-line, with almost fairy/bohemian vibes and had a lace and glitter overlay.

Stephen wore a navy blue and stone waistcoat suit from Marc Darcy in Manchester, and the groomsmen wore similar suits.

The bridesmaids wore a white chiffon maxi dress with a cowl neck, complementing the fresh and green colour scheme.

A Perfectly Coordinated Team

Vanilla Silk provided the bouquets, and Creative Venue Hire styled the venue. The result was a beautifully coordinated look that was perfect for the theme. The favours were white organza bags filled with silver heart-shaped chocolates with a card message attached that read, “thank you for being a key part of our lives” with a silver key attached that was also a bottle opener. The three-tiered white cake with green foliage wrapped around it was from Cake Craft in Ramsbottom.

Nala & Knot did a fantastic job with hair and makeup and even helped Lauren fasten her dress. Jeez, those buttons can be tricky, but Nala & Knot made it look easy.

The Perfect Party

Exceed Events kept the dance floor busy, and each chair during the ceremony had a bag of confetti and a small order of the day. Wedding flip-flops were provided for sore feet at the end of the night, and stone-baked pizzas were ordered for the evening and provided by Doughboy. Everything was perfectly coordinated, and the day was magical from start to finish.

In conclusion, Lauren and Ste’s wedding day was a magical celebration of love, surrounded by family and friends. Mitton Hall provided the perfect backdrop for the occasion, and the team of vendors and professionals went above and beyond to make everything perfect. From the flowers to the cake to the entertainment, every detail was perfectly coordinated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Lauren and Ste’s love story continues.
