Magical Mitton Hall Wedding
Louise and Martin’s Story
Louise and Martin’s wedding was a beautiful and magical day held at the stunning Mitton Hall. The weather was perfect, and the sun shone down on the happy couple as they exchanged vows in the orangery. The love and laughter between them were evident throughout the ceremony.
Jen and her team at Mitton Hall were fantastic all day, ensuring that everything ran smoothly, and the couple had the perfect day. Their attention to detail was impeccable, and they did an excellent job of making sure everyone was happy and comfortable.
The sage green and white colour scheme was classy and elegant, and the white roses and eucalyptus flowers provided the perfect finishing touch. The ceremony was held in the orangery, which was beautifully decorated.
After the ceremony, the couple made sure their guests were well-fed and entertained. They had arranged an ice cream van for the confetti shot, which was a lovely touch and added more fun to the day.
I asked Louise and Martin a few questions before the wedding to find out more about their love story and their big day.
A Heartwarming Love Story
Louise and Martin’s love story is heartwarming. Martin proposed to Louise by surprising her with a gift that he had carefully carried with him. It was a picture of two Lego characters (Superman and Superwoman) with the quote “You may not have been my first love, but I want you to be my last! Louise will you marry me?” In the picture, Superman is bent down on one knee with a ring in his hand. Louise was very shocked and surprised, and of course, said yes!

A Perfect Venue
The beautiful Mitton Hall captured Louise and Martin’s hearts at first sight. They knew it would be the perfect place to say “I do.” The venue had everything they needed, from the stunning orangery to the conference room and the special groom’s area downstairs. And that’s before I mention the historic hall with a romantic fireplace and chandelier (perfect for the classic ‘Mitton Hall chandelier shot’, the magnificent grounds, and the buildings themselves.

Stunning Wedding Details
Louise looked stunning in her Bridha dress, which was “the one” according to Louise, her mum, and her chief bridesmaid. Martin looked dapper in his blue suit from Slaters, which added a touch of sophistication to his big day.
Louise’s bridesmaids wore sage green dresses, which complemented the groomsmen’s blue suits perfectly.
They chose white roses and eucalyptus for their wedding flowers, which provided a classic and elegant touch to the day.
Louise and Martin wanted to make their day extra special, so they hired Exceed Events to provide the entertainment. They also had a Hollywood Mirrors magic mirror booth in the evening for guests to enjoy, which added an extra bit of fun to the day. They had a rockstar magic magician perform during the drinks reception, which was a hit with their guests.
