Eleanor and Kieran’s wedding was a beautiful and relaxed celebration held on a sunny day in June. I had the honor of capturing all the special moments as their wedding photographer.

Their special day began at the family home in Wigan, where they prepared for the ceremony. They exchanged their vows at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church before heading to Kilhey Court Hotel for the reception. Kilhey Court Hotel is a stunning venue that is well-kept and beautifully maintained.

Engagement Story

Lake Windermere is a beautiful and serene lake located in the Lake District National Park in Cumbria. The lake is the largest natural lake in England, and it is a popular destination for hiking, boating, and fishing. Kieran chose Lake Windermere as the location for his proposal because he wanted it to be a special and memorable occasion. He planned the proposal meticulously, and everything went according to plan. Eleanor was moved by the beauty of the lake and the romantic atmosphere, and Kieran’s proposal was the icing on the cake.

When asked about their wedding date, Eleanor shared that they chose it because they thought the weather would be nice, and luckily it was. They chose Kilhey Court as their wedding venue because they had Kieran’s dad’s funeral there, and the staff were amazing. They thought it would be nice to go back for a happy occasion.

Wedding Details

The wedding had a traditional and elegant style, with the color sage green chosen to honor Kieran’s Irish heritage. Eleanor’s Italian dress was stunning, and the men all looked dashing in their suits with dicky bows. The bridesmaids’ dresses, also sage green, were a perfect complement to the overall theme and style of the wedding.

The couple traveled in style on their special day, with Grace Wedding Cars providing five cars to transport the wedding party. The florals supplied by Florals by Danielle were simply stunning, and Pure Elegance did an excellent job decorating the tables. Cathy Whyte created a beautiful semi-naked cake with florals decorating it.

Dawn Leach and Leanne Hitchen, Eleanor’s best friends, took care of her hair and makeup, and they did a fantastic job. In the evening, Irish Band Lucky 15 played and sang plenty of Irish music, and Martin Goulding sang and played music for the guests during the day. The music was lively, upbeat, and added a touch of fun and excitement to the overall celebration. The guests danced, laughed, and had a great time, making the day unforgettable for everyone.
