A classic, stylish, and simple white, sage green summer wedding at Garstang Golf Club – Garstang Country Hotel Wedding Photographer
Della and James finally got their wedding day after the covid delays, and wow, they got the summer that they wanted. It was hitting 30ºC, sunny all day, and gifted a beautiful sunset just as it went dark.
I’ve been visiting Best Western Garstang Country Hotel & Golf Centre (to give it, it’s full name) since 2012 and each time it’s been great fun.
The staff were simply brilliant. They have a very diverse team working, mixed ages etc and all were equally attentive.
The ceremony room and the tables were decorated beautifully by Events By Design.
The whole hotel is immaculately clean and well-presented throughout.
A extraordinary ceremony by two fantastic ladies from Lancashire Registry Office was followed by a phenomenal reception mainly outside where guests had fun and enjoyed the sunshine. We had a great photo session which included the guests. I’m not usually into a lot of staged pictures, but all the ladies picked up the Della – they did it on the hen night and wanted to do it again….. so much so, they even picked up James after for a bit of fun. People usually dread the groups section of a wedding. I say embrace it and have fun with everyone. The pictures will just look outstandingly fun as a result.

Della chose a heavenly lace dress from Bride & Groom and James a rather fetching 3 piece suit from Pal Joey.
The bridesmaids all looked so pretty in sage green infinity dresses and the guys looked fantastic in three-piece suits from slater menswear.
Beauty was taken care of by talented Megan Marie hair. An old school friend of Della and someone I’ve worked with previously. Always a good laugh.
Later in the evening, an impressive sponge cake with jam and buttercream made by James’ auntie was cut into during the evening reception hosted by Alltrack Promotions Ltd.
Before I left, we popped outside and onto the green to make the best of a spectacular sunset. The colours when the sun went below the horizon were magical.
