Charlie and Jay’s Story
Charlie and Jay’s wedding at Peckforton Castle was a day filled with love, laughter, and pure fun. As their wedding photographer, I had the pleasure of capturing all the special moments of their big day, along with, on video.
I first met Charlie and Jay a few months ago when we had a virtual consultation to book their wedding photography. A few months later, I had the opportunity to shoot their pre-wedding photographs in the heart of Manchester. It was such a fun day that I knew their wedding day would be just as enjoyable.
From the moment I arrived at Peckforton Castle, I knew it would be a day to remember. I first met Jay, who was dealing with some last-minute logistics. After capturing a few pictures of him and his men on the lawn, the phone rang. Charlie was just a few minutes away and we needed to clear the way. Jay immediately vacated the area, and we took care of the situation.
Throughout the day, there were plenty of hilarious moments, including some great dance moves and lots of laughter. It was clear that everyone was having a blast, and I felt so lucky to be a part of it all.
The couple and guests were absolutely delighted with the surprise of the singing waiters. Their performance was one massively memorable moment of the day. The mother of the bride booked them and, as mentioned, it was a huge amount of fun. I’ve no idea why so many photographers hate them.
As the day came to a close, I felt grateful for the opportunity to capture such a beautiful celebration of love. Charlie and Jay, I want to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
