Nicola and Graeme’s Eaves Hall Wedding:
A Winter Wonderland Affair with a Dash of Batman
Winter weddings are always a magical affair, and Nicola and Graeme’s Eaves Hall wedding was no exception. With sunflowers in full bloom and a surprise Batman car, it was a day to remember.
The bride’s daughter, Daisey, was more than a helper in the wedding planning process – she was a force to be reckoned with. After all, it was her who helped Nicola choose the perfect dress. And boy, did they knock it out of the park! The dress was a stunning masterpiece, and it was clear that Nicola and Daisey’s bond was unbreakable.
But the real surprise was reserved for the groom. Nicola had booked a Batman car from Character Cars to pick him up. When the car arrived, Graeme was both surprised and delighted. Who wouldn’t be? It’s not every day you get to ride in the Batmobile!
Once inside Eaves Hall, guests were greeted with an array of beautiful sunflowers and stunning décor, courtesy of Kathleens Florist. The floral arrangements perfectly complemented the winter wedding vibes, and the warm hues provided a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The sunflowers brought a splash of brightness and warmth to the day, making it feel like spring was on the way.

Lesley Ann, the function manager, and her team were amazing. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring that every aspect of the day was perfect did not go unnoticed. She was like a wedding superhero, making sure that everything ran smoothly, so the couple could relax and enjoy their special day.
Despite the occasional rain, the couple remained optimistic and embraced the day with open arms. It’s England, what else did they expect? But a little rain never hurt anyone, and it certainly didn’t dampen the spirits of the newlyweds and their guests. They say it’s good look to have rain on your wedding day…. who are we to argue?
With the weather playing its part in the day, out main plans had gone out of the window. Our back up was staying in the church at the end to capture a few groups and to produce a couple of creative portraits. They do look fantastic even if I say so.
Back at Gibbon Bridge we were greeted by Robin the Piano Man from Cambridge playing and singing some great music. After an hour or so of mingling between the guests we captured some more groups and then a few more creative portraits.

The wedding party was also a sight to behold. Seven fantastic bridesmaids and six handsome groomsmen made up the perfect wedding entourage. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their elegant gowns, while the groomsmen rocked their suits like nobody’s business.
Wes of Exceed events was the host for the wedding breakfast and DJ for the reception, and he did a fantastic job of keeping everyone entertained. He had everyone up and dancing, enjoying the music and the company. It was a great way to end the day and start the evening celebrations.
