I recently caught up with Sarah and Ibrahim to ask how they got engaged, and let me tell you, it’s a story worth sharing!
It was their anniversary on 21/07 in 2022, and they were expecting their daughter. Ibrahim had planned a romantic day at the beach, which also happened to be the spot of their first date, followed by a delicious meal. However, things didn’t go according to plan as Sarah ended up in the hospital on the day and had to stay overnight.
But that didn’t stop Ibrahim from popping the question! He proposed in a car park near the hospital after their meal, turning a potentially stressful situation into a heartwarming and memorable moment. And while the original plans may have been ruined, Sarah and Ibrahim can now look back and laugh about it.
We can’t wait to see what other adventures this lovely couple has in store for their future together. Congratulations, Sarah and Ibrahim!
When I asked Sarah and Ibrahim why they chose their wedding venue, they had the perfect answer. It was like a love child between classy and elegant, with a dash of countryside charm that Sarah adores. And while Ibrahim may prefer glam to rural, the mix was just right for this delightful couple. 😆

When I asked them about their wedding colours and style, they had a clear vision. They’re going for a romantic and elegant theme, with blush pinks and whites taking centre stage. And let’s be real, who doesn’t love that aesthetic? Sarah certainly does! 😉

Let’s talk about the fashion at Sarah and Ibrahim’s wedding. For the bridalwear, they went with two separate looks. Traditional clothing was the choice for the Nikah ceremony, while Sarah opted for a stunning dress from Grace Loves Lace for the reception. And can you blame her? She had her eye on that dress long before the engagement! She looked breathtaking in her gown, which was the perfect choice for the romantic and elegant theme of the day. Meanwhile, the guys were looking sharp in custom suits with a stylish dogtooth pattern from Moss Bros. Looking good, everyone! 😎
When I asked Sarah and Ibrahim about the flowers and styling for their wedding, they gave me all the details. Think blush pinks, whites, peonies, roses, and more. They’ll be dressing up the main entrance table, side room table, and aisle with beautiful decorations, with even more centrepieces to come later on. And who’s providing all this loveliness? None other than the fabulous Margaret Mason. You’re in good hands, Sarah and Ibrahim! 🌸
Let’s talk about the cake at Sarah and Ibrahim’s wedding. They went with a “naked” cake, which means no icing, but it’s dressed up with beautiful flowers provided by the amazing Margaret Mason. And who’s providing the cake itself? None other than KymmycakesUK. It’s going to be a delicious and beautiful centrepiece for the reception. Yum! 🎂

Let’s talk about the glam squad at Sarah and Ibrahim’s wedding. As we all know, a happy bride is a beautiful bride. And that’s exactly what Katie from Bridal Beauty Collection achieved! She was on hand all morning, working her magic and ensuring that the ladies looked absolutely stunning. Of course, Sarah and her bridesmaids were already gorgeous to begin with, but with Katie’s help, they took it to the next level! 😉
