Hazel and Anthony’s Story
I first met this amazing couple at a wedding back in 2018 when Hazel was a bridesmaid for her best friend, Rachel, who was in turn, a bridesmaid for Hazel.
Hazel and Anthony chose Didsbury House as they both have a love for older venues with a hint of vintage. Didsbury House is also exclusive use which makes the service so much more personal.
Pastel colours with hessian and lace were chosen to give a late spring and slightly vintage look.
With this look, Hazel had chosen a lace dress from Emma Louise Bridal in Bolton. She knew it was the one the moment she tried it on.
After a quiet (ish) morning getting ready in the bridal suites with expert beauty people, Make You Up, and close friends Lisa on hair styling. Before heading on down to marry Anthony, the man of her dreams there was a reveal to Dad.
Anthony arrived wearing a fantastic blue Ted Baker suit that he bought from Slater Menswear. He’d also matched it to a pair of shoes that he’s very proud of. He also wore a tie with an antique print to match the theme.
Peonies and then a range of other pastel-coloured flowers to compliment, including forget-me-nots were from Buttercups and daisies in Denton.
Hazel’s sister Jen created the decorations. There were candle jars wrapped in lace/hessian. There were photos of the two of them from their house dotted around the venue. Jen also decorated the guest book and her partner made a beautiful bespoke box for the cards. Anthony’s dad made a frame for guests to pop their names on a little wooden heart and post onto it.
