Natasha and Nicolas’ Story
Natasha and Nicolas tied the knot at Merrydale Manor in front of their loved ones and friends. The day was filled with love and music, which holds a special place in the couple’s hearts. They arranged and performed a musical interlude with their friends, leaving everyone in awe. The link to their beautiful day is [here](insert link).

Despite the showers of rain, their wedding day was everything they had hoped for, with Dale Alexander Events making sure everything ran smoothly. The wedding planning service’s first event at Crewe Hall was a success, thanks to Dale and his colleagues, Rachael and Emily, who were present all day to ensure everything was done correctly and help arrange the evening meet and greet with the newlyweds.
Why Crewe Hall Weddings?
The couple chose Crewe Hall as their wedding venue due to the beautiful Grade I listed building, lovely architecture, gardens, and spa. They knew their guests from abroad would enjoy staying at the hall. The Continental Suite was perfect for their Indian reception.
The Theme and Colour Scheme
For their Indian day, the couple went for a colourful and fun theme. They wanted a contrast between the two days, and for their wedding day, they went for a soft and neutral colour scheme, giving it a romantic and timeless feel.

The Outfits and Flowers
Natasha had two different Indian outfits for the afternoon and evening, a “lehenga” and a “sherwani” for the groom. They got all the Indian outfits from India, and Ewer-Roberts Flowers provided all the flowers. The florist added a few red and orange flowers (marigolds) to tie in with their Indian decor.
The Wedding Reception
The couple had a floral centrepiece with storm lanterns, tapered candles, and a broken floral arch for the ceremony. For their Indian reception at Crewe Hall, they used the same flowers, and the florist added a few red and orange flowers (marigolds) to tie in with their Indian theme. They had an “Indian Bazaar” with lots of different little gifts from India, and their guests could choose something to take home with them.

Food, Wines, and Entertainment
Diya Catering & Events provided Chaat snacks and chai during the henna ceremony in the afternoon, canapé-style starters in the evening, and an Indian buffet dinner. Their guests had a great food experience on both days with a traditional British meal on day one and authentic Indian food on day two. Desi Jockeys (DJ) kept the dance floor busy, and the couple had a Bollywood group dance with all their family members and bridal party to kick off the Indian reception.

Special Touches
The couple had a decorated cycle rickshaw, for their Indian reception, which was a great prop for photos. They also made their reception entrance on it, which was a lot of fun. The wedding was a celebration of love, culture, and family, with everyone involved in the Bollywood dance mashup. It was a beautiful and heartwarming sight to see Nicolas’ family embrace Indian culture with such enthusiasm, passion, and energy.
In conclusion, I would like to thank the brilliant team who made sure Natasha and Nicolas had the best time. The choreography was by Aakash Phulwani, DJ by Desi Jockeys, and the event coordination by Dale Alexander Events. Everlasting Events provided the decor and rickshaw, and The Distillery Box supplied the drinks. The couple’s hair and makeup were by Stephanie Swain Bridal, and Tasneem Mehndi Artist did the mehndi.
It was a beautiful celebration of love, and I wish Natasha and Nicolas all the happiness in the world.
I hope you enjoy the video……
Paul.
