Jayne and Dana’s Story
Continued from their sneak peek <<< HERE >>>
It all started with a romantic getaway to Fife for Dana’s 40th birthday, and Jayne knew she had found “the one.” After some nerves and laughs, they got engaged on October 6th, 2017, and immediately knew Broadoaks was the perfect place for their special day.
The stunning scenery, old-world charm, and warm staff at Broadoaks made Jayne and Dana feel truly special as a same-sex couple. Mel and Stelios ensured every detail was taken care of, making the day unforgettable. The colour scheme was purple, matching Jayne’s Pride of Scotland tartan kilt and Dana’s white wedding dress from Eden Wedding Boutique. The flower arrangements by Laura Tuer featured Jayne’s favorite flowers, irises and thistles.
Their wedding cake by Deborah Warburton was a beautiful two-tier design with white and purple marbling. Jayne kept her speech short and sweet, and Motiv-8 provided the entertainment with a fun karaoke session.

But what truly made their wedding special were the unique touches. Jayne wore a kilt and had her best woman, Helen, by her side. Dana’s daughters, Emily and Erynn, played special roles, and even Emily’s chihuahua, Tilly, joined in on the fun. Maria from Unique Hair & Beauty Studio took care of the hair for Dana and her bridesmaids.
