Planning your wedding is no easy task. From choosing your venue, your dress, the suits, who will be bridesmaids, best man, the cake, will it be chicken or beef, all way right down to the little details of which font will go onto the place cards for the table plan!

I like to send out a few questions to my brides and grooms about a month before the big day to get to know them a little and to find out which lovely suppliers they’ve asked to help make their day so special.

Katy and Jonny planned a rustic summer wedding at the beautifully restored 16th century Beeston Manor.

Beeston Manor is family run wedding and events venue, famous for its hospitality from the staff. Amy, Kath, Jenny, Janet and their teams are amazing. They make it look so effortless working together to give couples the best day ever.

There’s another thing the Manor is also famous for and that’s its sunsets, Katy and Jonny were not disappointed. The sun turned to a big red ball in the sky, the cake was moved outside and we witnessed the cake cutting and then first dance outside under the sunset. It was not until the sun had actually gone down that the sky turned an amazing orange. Quite rare in August.

Such a special and emotional day with so many happy moments, fun with lots and lots of laughter, and maybe a few tears.
