Planning your wedding is no easy task. From choosing your venue, your dress, the suits, who will be bridesmaids, best man, the cake, will it be chicken or beef, all way right down to the little details of which font will go onto the place cards for the table plan!
I like to send out a few questions to my brides and grooms about a month before the big day to get to know them a little and to find out which lovely suppliers they’ve asked to help make their day so special.
Natasha and Dean tied the knot at their local Church, Coppull Parish Church before moving onto historic country house Bartle Hall. An absolutely stunning venue and beautiful grounds.
This was a day filled with so many happy moments, fun with lots and lots of laughter. Here are the details of planning and suppliers that made their day so special.
Where and when did you get engaged? Tell me what happened?
14th March 2017 , playa del ingles beach in Gran Canaria, dean took me for a walk along the beach after a meal and got down on one knee!
Why did you choose your wedding date?
Because it’s 2 years and one day after we got engaged
Why did you choose your venue?
We fell in love with it when we saw it .. love the barn with drapes, beams, lights etc.
What is your wedding colour scheme?
Silver / grey colour scheme with some sparkles
What sort of dress/outfit did you choose and where from? Why did you choose it?
A princess dress from brides at Charnock Farm!
What has your partner chosen to wear?
Grey suit with tweed waistcoat, hired from Debenhams
What are your bridesmaids/ groomsmen going to wear and where from?
Bridesmaids in long grey dresses with some sparkles on and groomsmen in grey suits , all from Debenhams.
How will you travel on the day? If the transport is hired, where is it from?

What flowers have you chosen, if any? Who is providing them?
Variety of white flowers with peach gerbras. From 101 Carnations
What flowers and decorations have you chosen for the wedding reception? Who is providing them or helping you?
Decorations are provided by the venue .. floating candles. We have bought dimantes / silver petals for the tables.
Are you giving out favours? If so, what?
Yes, silver bags of sweets with wooden heart tags with our names & wedding date on
What cake have you chosen? Who is making it?
4 tier sponge cake, ruffled icing at the bottom. Silver ribbon. Made by Milly’s cakes
Who have you chosen for beauty (Makeup and Hair)
The Colour Lounge Coppull for hair, Ellie Ridley for makeup
What other “special touches” have you added to your day?
Hiring ‘love’ letters. Making our own sweet table. Making a memory table to remember very special loved ones who are no longer with us.
What entertainment have you chosen?
DFC Lancashhire will be providing starlit dance floor and selfie mirror.
