Natalie and Carl’s Story

Here’s Natalie and Carl’s date night premiere video of their wedding day at Bartle Hall.

This wedding was a long time coming. I first met Natalie and Carl back in June 2019! After their original venue went into administration, covid soon hit and we had a couple of new dates due to this going on much longer than anyone thought it would. According to Natalie and Carl, Bartle Hall were simply fantastic from fist contact and then through covid.

Lets go back a little. Here’s a little story from Carl……

31/12/17 5 years to the day that i asked Nat to be my girlfriend, I proposed on Preston Flag Market haha, we’d been for a meal and I planned to in there, but made a very good decision due to Nat being very shy at the time to make it more just me and Nat. It was quiet just the odd person in my opinion it was just right. Nat thinks i should have waited till Harry Potter world 2 weeks later haha

A rustic style was chosen for the wedding with navy and dusty pink/blush colours. Natalie was keen on a Harry Potter theme though Carl was less than impressed with this.

Natalie’s dress is a Maggie Sottero design with a long train at the back and detailed with lace which she bought from The Bridal lounge of Clitheroe.

A few words from Natalie:

I chose it because i fell in love with it! I tried on numerous dresses but kept going back to this one. It’s not your average white dress, its ivory over champagne. Very different to your traditional white dress.

Carl chose a Navy three-piece suit from Skopes, Freeport.

On the morning of the day, Megan Marie Hair and Chelsey Graham MUA worked fantastically on the beauty side.

On the wedding day Paul of Bartle Hall was on hand to guide the day along, provide any help to Natalie and Carl. (I found him in the reception area helping put the buttonholes on the men)

Nothing was ever too much of a problem, the rooms were spot on and everything ran on time.

Getting ready starts in the fantastic Thicket Lodge before finishing off in the beautifully appointed Singleton room. It’s full of beautiful light which floods through the east-facing windows. The ceremony is then performed in the main room in the house before confetti and drinks on the beautiful lawn. It’s rather large and I guess takes some looking after. From here, the party moves to the coach house for the wedding breakfast and then the evening celebration. The coach house is an amazing space and is always presented immaculately and beautifully styled.

In amongst all of this, it was such a pleasure to tell Natalie and Carl’s story. A fantastic couple, with amazing friends and family.
