An Unforgettable Wedding Day at the Out Barn

Courtney and Mark’s Story

As the OutBarn Wedding Photographer, I had the wonderful opportunity to capture Courtney and Mark’s special day. From the moment they got engaged in a little restaurant in the Lake District, the excitement and anticipation for their wedding began.

When it came to choosing the venue, The Out Barn was an easy choice for Courtney and Mark. As soon as they entered the front door, the bride couldn’t stop smiling. The picturesque countryside setting and rustic charm of the venue made it the perfect location for their celebration.

Courtney and Mark had a slight theme of rugby for their wedding. Both of them have played the sport, and they even planned to watch the World Cup on their honeymoon. This personal touch added a unique and meaningful element to their special day.

The wedding colour scheme was champagne, chosen by the bride. She initially wanted yellow, but considering the potential risks of using such a vibrant colour, champagne was the closest alternative that looked absolutely stunning.

For her dress, Courtney opted for a white flowing gown from Ava Rose Hamilton in Colne. When she tried it on, she knew it was the one. The dress made her feel amazing and looked absolutely beautiful.

The chosen flowers for the wedding included jerbera, baby’s breath, foliage, and freesia. These lovely floral arrangements were provided by a family friend named Christine.

At the wedding reception, flowers and candles were the main decorations. Courtney and Mark provided the candles themselves, while the flowers were arranged by another family friend. The combination of flowers and candles created a romantic and enchanting atmosphere.

For beauty, Courtney chose Natalie Jane HMUA for her makeup and hair. Natalie was not only a talented artist but also brought a lot of fun to the wedding morning, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

When it came to food and wine, Courtney and Mark opted for a Good Food Story buffet. The delicious Fratellis pizza was a hit among their guests, offering a tasty and casual dining experience.

The entertainment for the wedding was carefully chosen to create a memorable experience for everyone. Strings played during the ceremony, providing a romantic and elegant ambience. In the evening, a DJ took over to keep the party going. To add a touch of excitement, a rodeo bull was set up for guests to challenge each other and see who could stay on the longest. Additionally, a live painter, Cheryl Morrice artist was present, capturing the love and joy of the day on canvas.

Throughout the day, the incredible team of suppliers played a vital role in creating a perfect wedding experience. The stunning floral arrangements were provided by Blossom and Bloom.

As the OutBarn Wedding Photographer, I feel immensely fortunate to have been part of Courtney and Mark’s joyous celebration. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Congratulations to the happy couple, and may their journey together be as remarkable as their wedding day.

With love,
