We got engaged on our 5-year anniversary in Cervinia, Italy while skiing. It was a magical moment, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the snowy slopes. As we glided down the mountain, our hearts filled with joy and excitement. With the sun shining above us and the crisp mountain air filling our lungs, we knew that this was the perfect moment to take our relationship to the next level.
After a thrilling day on the slopes, we found a cosy spot to rest and soak in the stunning mountain views. As we sat there, catching our breath and relishing in the warmth of each other’s company, Ian got down on one knee and presented me with the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. It sparkled in the sunlight, reflecting the love and commitment we shared.
Overwhelmed with happiness, I immediately said “Yes!” Tears of joy streamed down our faces as we embraced, knowing that our journey together was about to reach new heights. It was a moment that we will cherish forever, a symbol of our love and the adventures that lie ahead.
