Nikki-Louise and Richard’s Story
Nikki is a self-obsessed Alice in wonderland fan. In Nikki’s words, “Alice is everything I am”. An amazingly styled wedding, by @verdurefloraldesign who decorated the venue with flowers, and the table decorations made by Hatton creations in London.
And wow, Nikki’s dress. In @ericastaceycouture‘s words, “This wedding dress has been a dream project for us at ESHQ over the last 18 months!
We designed a bespoke black and white printed striped organza and draped and folded it over layers of black and red taffeta, tulle and crinoline. We scattered black and red velvet hearts and jet beaded flowers all over the finished creation.
As a creative pattern cutter, I’ve enjoyed going to town with different angles and ratios to create an asymmetric frock fit for a queen!”
I’ve not mentioned the cake yet. It was such a shame to cut an amazing work of art by @fancycakesbyrachel. The bottom tier is a black and white diamond, 2nd tier is pink with a keyhole and key, 3rd tier with a Cheshire Cat and the top tier is the mad hatter’s hat with cards tumbling down the cake into a cup on the base with fliers with faces. Stunning.
Donna of @thebridalartistco took care of the beauty. Both hair and makeup were meticulously perfect.
The evening party including the first dance was taken care of by @exceedevents
Moving onto hosting and wow, what a host. Will at @manchester_hall. Superb service and hosting by Will and his team at the Hall. My first time at the Hall and it didn’t disappoint. Stunning in every location, though I think I was bowled over by the chandelier/lights through the stairs and mirrors on the first floor.
