Naomi and Iain’s Story
Naomi and Iain finally got their wedding day after the covid delays, and wow, what a day.
The wedding has a slight Alice in Wonderland theme though nothing over the top (in Naomi’s words). From custom made wedding trainers that have the mad hatter’s tea party hand painted on them. Naomi told me, she wanted this as she doesn’t like the whole traditional theme and wanted fun and quirky. She has a little obsession with the films, though more so the book she was given as a young child. She wanted a fun tea party as her wedding breakfast to reflect how ‘mad we are’.
There’s a fun tale of when they got engaged too. This happened in Amsterdam back in Feb 2018. Iain had a book all about Naomi made which included all the things he loves about Naomi. Iain then got on one knee as it got to the page where he asked her to marry him and her words were ‘fuck off’. She still didn’t say yes straight away, and he had to ask her again to confirm her answer of yes.
Naomi chose a lovely dress from lotties bridal boutique in Lytham saint Annes. Naomi said: “She pulled out various dresses and as soon as I saw it I knew it was the one!”
Blue suits were chosen from Suitbae.

From nearly 15 years and over 400 weddings, this was my first time at The Villa, Wrea Green. A fantastic wedding venue with a lovely lady Catherine keeping everything running smoothly and on time for the couples.
When I arrived the team from Sonja Jones Design Team were busy getting the rooms ready and as usual, did a stunningly beautiful job.
Naomi loves sunflowers so chose to have a sunflower based bouquet from Barlow Bespoke Flowers with bridesmaids having ever pretty gypsophila.
Beauty was taken care of by Emily’s Hair Design, and Hair and Beauty by Jade Nicole.
During the day, Darren Robinson entertained and wowed guests with his magic tricks.
Dave of PCRoadshows Entertainments entertained the guests for the evening.
