Natalie and Kurt’s Story

Wow, what an astonishing, day for Natalie and Kurt’s wedding at Beeston Manor

It was a day of so many different weather features. It was sunny (briefly), dark and cloudy, and then the wind and rain came just in time for the ceremony and drinks reception. I could barely hear during the ceremony with the rain and wind hammering the building.
Just after the group photographs, the cloud started to break and the sun came out, just enough time to get out for portraits and then the confetti shots we had missed earlier.

During the evening, we had gone out to create a few of my creative portraits only for a massively heavy shower to hit…. There was a gift in this – a really beautiful portrait between 2 trees. In fact, I got 2 before we abandoned to get the umbrella out.

I’ve spoken about Beeston Manor a few times before, it really is one of the best places to have your wedding day. Not least the setting, but the staff who look after your special day. Jen who spends the day with you couldn’t do any more for you. She’s fantastic and was nothing less for Natalie and Kurt. Jen’s team work away in the background all day and work hard is what they do. Nothing is too much trouble.

Natalie chose a fitted lace dress from WED2B.

A Cake Occasion created a 3-tier watercolour marble cake with Mr and Mrs Dillon on the top. It was also decorated with Natalie’s chosen flowers.

Natalie chose silver, white, and blue artificial flowers from an Etsy store.

Party on

Andy of Andy B Events arrived in the afternoon to announce them into the room for wedding breakfast along with the speeches.

Andy was able to keep the dance floor busy even before the evening kicked off with the cake cutting and first dance. After the first dance it was busy with lots of dancing, with a particularly nice dance between Natalie and her Grandad.
