I’m a well-established Manchester Wedding Photographer serving my clients for 10 years now. My photography style has become known to many of my clients as ‘balanced’. Natural candid photography with just the right amount of family group and portrait photos – a free flowing day with little time away from your guests.

I like and love a lot of things in life, especially weddings. I love couples who laugh, who are not perfectionists, don’t take things too seriously, who just want to enjoy their wedding day. As said, I love my job, it gives me that unique opportunity to re-tell your wedding day through beautiful images – I want you to relive your anticipations, your laughter, your tears everytime you see your wedding photos – ‘Your Wedding Story’.

Your wedding will be unique in more ways than you think. Your venue on the date, the weather, your chosen styling but the most unique thing is you two, the couple getting married! Many couples tell me choosing their photographer was one of the hardest decisions they had to make. With over 10 years’ experience as a wedding photographer there’s nothing I’ve not experienced, all of which I bring to every wedding with me. Knowing when to step in and take control, lend a helping hand or step back is a developed skill.
Style & Aproach
So first let’s talk a little about style and approach…
Style is of course subjective and there are many choices with each requiring different approaches, skillsets, time including away from your guests and comfort levels in front of the camera. It is important that you not only like the style of your photographer, and that you can see yourself in the images too.

- Half-Day Coverage (from the start of service until you sit for dinner)
- All your images beautifully edited and available to download.
- A pre-wedding meeting to talk about your wedding and the finer details, share guidance and advice so that you feel confident that all of your questions are answered and ready for your big day.
- A sneak peek of around 20 images approximately 2 days after your special day.

Your wedding day will fly by so quickly, believe me. So many of the little details which contribute to the style and ambience of your day, will be overlooked in the fun and enjoyment of your day.
This is where I come in, it’s my job to ensure that all those poignant details are captured in all their beauty, whilst you focus on being in the moment with your loved ones and guests.
You’re going to be spending a lot of time with your photographer, and you want someone who you will capture the memories and tell the story of your day, AND that you feel comfortable with.
You want a professional and skilled photographer who won’t let you down, who is discrete and blends in; who will go the extra mile, guiding you and giving you advice.
I am naturally very calm and patient, which really helps to ease the nerves of both bride and groom before the big moment comes to say “I do”. Along with being easy-going, this is also a great temperament to have when things don’t go quite to plan – the unexpected often does happen, and schedules go awry.
My clients have described me as “having an ability to calm and relax people in unfamiliar situations”, as being “fun and personable, whilst blending in with their guests”.

The planning we did together beforehand was crucial to the day, and Paul made it all so easy for us.

Paul is a very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional photographer who has a very relaxed and flexible manner. He worked around what we needed which made us relaxed and worry free. The planning meetings we had went smoothly and Paul was able to offer good suggestions on top of what we wanted. He certainly was not one of these regimented photographers who barked orders at everyone.
Manchester City Center
We used Paul for our pre wedding shoot, wedding and more recently a couple’s portrait shoot. All times we have met with Paul it has been fun filled and easy-going without any fuss. The wedding pictures we had done where amazing and so natural we have lots of pictures to look at and relive the magical day.
We can’t thank Paul enough for the hard work he put in on the day itself and then putting the sideshow together the finished albums we chose from a great selection of images are fantastic. Once again, thanks Paul.
What can I say about working with Paul? He was fantastic from start to finish! I had struggled to find a photographer I felt comfortable with as neither myself or my husband are keen on photos. Paul made us both feel completely at ease throughout the day. He even managed to calm my husband down during a moment of panic whilst I was getting ready – I didn’t even find out about this until later!!
Paul just ran with the flow throughout the day, ensuring that we got mostly candid pictures of us and the guests and even worked with the Simon from All Star Disco to achieve some very unusual outdoors first dance pictures!
Just as he had packed up to leave Paul noticed the most beautiful moon and grabbed Dave and I for one last photo which we appreciate so much!
